Klingensmith Scholarship (Armstrong County)
Created in 1983 to support working high school students from Ford City who pursue pharmacy studies, the Klingensmith Fund was later transferred to The Community Foundation Serving the Heart of Western Pennsylvania. The Community Foundation now administers the fund as college scholarships for eligible local students, with consideration given to pharmaceutical education.
In October of 1983, the Trustees and various Klingensmith Trusts created a scholarship to further the higher education of working high school students residing in Ford City who chose to study in the field of pharmacy.
