Automated Permitting Systems Demonstration for Building Code Permitting (HUD-funded)
This HUD NOFO supports jurisdictions to deploy and test automated building code permitting systems in real-world conditions. The project will assess impacts on processing timelines, workflow efficiency, staffing and governance needs, and applicant experience, producing evidence on costs and potential savings. Results will help inform broader adoption by other state and local governments.
