The primary purpose of these funds is to support projects designed to educate the public about the dangers of substance abuse and/or reduce demand for these substances.

Eligibility for these funds is open to nonprofit organizations. Applicants are strongly encouraged to work in concert with other substance abuse reduction efforts existing in the community to be served through this funding; however, they are not required to do so.
