This opportunity seeks development of an auto-focus signal-processing capability that automatically adjusts array processing to improve detection of quiet underwater contacts using hydrophone arrays. Proposed work should produce algorithms and real-time implementations validated with simulation or experimental data to enhance SONAR sensitivity and robustness.
