The U.S. Department of Labor’s ILAB intends to award a cooperative agreement to Free the Slaves to elevate the voices of people with lived experience to prevent labor exploitation. The project will provide technical assistance to survivors and support governments in institutionalizing survivor leadership in policies and procedures.
