Forest Conservation
The California Forest Conservation Program funds planning, land acquisition, and on-the-ground restoration projects across the state's forests to protect water resources, improve forest health, and reduce wildfire risk. Typical projects include meadow restoration, forest thinning for hazard fuel reduction, post-fire restoration, and aspen stand enhancement.
