NIAID Clinical Trial Implementation Cooperative Agreement (U01 Clinical Trial Required)
This opportunity funds investigator-initiated, milestone-driven clinical trials that require enhanced oversight, and may also support related mechanistic studies. Trials can be funded up to 5 years, with options for longer extensions of 6–7 years. Each application can propose only one clinical trial and will be peer-reviewed through standard NIH processes.
