California’s ASES program funds school–community partnerships that offer literacy, academic enrichment, and safe before- and after-school activities for students in grades K-9. Round 2 of the 2025-26 RFA aims to sustain existing programs and invites quality applications from eligible elementary and middle schools statewide. Schools apply in partnership with local community resources.
