Provides reimbursement grants (up to 75% of installation costs) to build, renovate, or maintain pumpout and dump stations for pleasure boats, covering equipment, piping, holding tanks, pier modifications, signs, permits, and related items. Grants do not cover onshore restrooms, sewage treatment plants, septic systems, drain fields, or special treatment devices.

Eligibility
Clean Vessel Act grant funds are available to both the public and private sector. This includes all local governmental entities and private businesses that own and operate boating facilities. To participate in this program, the pumpout stations must be open to the general boating public.
