FY25 FRA cooperative agreement for Amtrak’s National Network ($294.5M)
The Federal Railroad Administration will provide Amtrak $294.5 million for operating, capital, and debt service needs, available through January 31, 2028 or until expended. Only Amtrak is eligible and must submit SF-424 forms, a statement of work, budget and project details, safety culture updates, and required assurances. This is not open to other applicants.
Pursuant to the Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2025, Pub. L. 118-158, the Federal Railroad Administration is to make available to Amtrak $294,502,550 to cover Operating, Capital, and Debt Service which will be used until January 31, 2028, or until expended.
