MASY NOFO: Applied R&D to Improve Algal Bioenergy Yield and Lower Costs

The DOE’s Maximizing Algal System Yield (MASY) NOFO funds high-impact, applied research to remove bottlenecks in algal cultivation and preprocessing. The goal is to improve algal biofuel and bioproduct process economics and enable expansion of domestic algae as a bioenergy resource. Concept papers are due 2/21/2025 and full applications are due 5/15/2025 (5 PM ET).
