OVC FY25 Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Victim Compensation Formula Grant
This program provides formula-based federal funding to eligible states to compensate crime victims. States use the grant to pay eligible victim compensation benefits for costs resulting from crime, excluding amounts for property damage. The annual grant amount is based on prior state-funded victim compensation payments from two fiscal years earlier.
