Tectonics

The Tectonics Program funds research on continental lithosphere deformation. It supports field, lab, and computational studies that explore how and why these changes occur. The research can focus on processes happening at any depth within the continental lithosphere, from short-term events over decades to longer geological time-scales, and from tiny to massive regional scales.
