NIAID funding: multidisciplinary research to accelerate hepatitis B cure in people with HIV/HBV coinfection
NIH’s NIAID is soliciting applications for multidisciplinary research to accelerate a hepatitis B cure for people living with HIV/HBV coinfection. Awards will fund an observational cohort and teams using existing clinical data and biospecimens to study persistence and pathogenesis, identify biomarkers and drug targets, and develop noninvasive diagnostics.
