Eligibility for these funds is open to county governments and non-profit agencies. Applicants for STOP Program funds must certify that they comply with the statutory eligibility requirements of the federal Violence Against Women Act (VAWA); agree to refrain from practices that have <br />been found to jeopardize victim safety, retraumatize victims, and/or undermine offender accountability.
