Cooperative agreement for CESU partner: avian influenza, pathology, and transmitter-tracked waterbird movement

USGS seeks a Piedmont-South Atlantic Coast CESU-affiliated partner to study avian influenza (AIV) infection and seroprevalence in understudied waterbird species. The project will link infection history to movements of transmitter-marked birds and use pathology exams of recovered dead birds to assess causes of death and disease-specific movement signatures.
