OREI: Research Projects with Extension and Education for Organic Farming

This USDA program funds integrated research projects that include extension and/or education components to help producers and processors already using organic standards improve production, marketing, and resilience. Funded projects should deliver practical tools, outreach, and training to increase quality, marketability, and the resilience of organic farming systems.

The purpose of this program is to fund high priority integrated projects that will enhance the ability of producers and processors who have already adopted organic standards to grow and market high quality organic agricultural products and to increase resilience in American farming systems.
