Phase II: Edge-based explainable digital twin for predictive aircraft launch and recovery maintenance
The program supports developing edge-deployed digital twin platforms that use existing and new sensors to detect faults and predict failures for aircraft launch and recovery equipment. The focus is on explainable modeling to give advance notice and help maintainers perform condition-based maintenance. This is aimed at improving reliability and readiness of carrier-based systems.
