Pilot production of zirconium and hafnium metal-organic precursors (direct to Phase II)
This opportunity funds development and demonstration of a pilot-scale manufacturing process to produce high-purity TDMAZ, TDMAH, and related zirconium and hafnium metal dimethylamide compounds. The goal is to reach more than 6,000 kg per year of TDMAZ production capacity. Outputs focus on enabling domestic supply of these metal-organic precursors.
Develop and demonstrate a pilot-scale manufacturing process for producing high purity tetrakis(dimethylamido)zirconium(IV) (TDMAZ), tetrakis(dimethylamido)hafnium(IV) (TDMAH) and related metal dimethylamide compounds, with a targeted annual production capacity exceeding 6,000 kg of TDMAZ.
