Grants to design synthetic cells and cell-like systems for research and biotech

This solicitation funds research to create cell-like systems, engineer synthetic cells to probe evolution and expand biological diversity, and build platforms for novel biotech applications. Proposals will be evaluated on intellectual merit and broader impacts. Projects must also integrate social, ethical, and safety considerations related to synthetic cell design.
