Design, Manufacture, Test, Deliver & Warranty of New Single Level Passenger Coach Cars
Metro-North Commuter Railroad plans to issue a procurement RFP to design, manufacture, test, deliver, and warranty new single-level passenger coach cars. The cars are intended to support the Penn Station Access initiative and replace Shoreliner coach cars. This is a contracting opportunity for rail vehicle manufacturers rather than a grant, and it will be issued as an RFP.
