For-Profit Organizations: United States Small Business Concerns (SBCs) that meet SBA STTR criteria (organized for profit; U.S. place of business; ≤500 employees including affiliates; allowable legal forms include sole proprietorship, partnership, LLC, corporation, joint venture, association, trust, cooperative)

Joint Ventures that qualify as SBCs (each entity to the joint venture must meet STTR ownership/control requirements; joint venture must have <50% participation by foreign business entities)

Only United States small business concerns (SBCs) are eligible to apply as the prime applicant for this STTR NOFO. Key requirements and restrictions include:
