Ocean County 2026 Municipal Sidewalk Grants (Up to $5M for sidewalks on county roads)
Ocean County will competitively fund sidewalk installations along county roads, with up to $5 million total available in 2026. The county covers 75% of construction costs, while municipalities cover “soft costs” such as engineering, permitting, land/property needs, and ongoing maintenance. Individual projects are capped at $500,000 per phase.
