Liquid Aluminum Sulfate
Background The City of Austin is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure liquid aluminum sulfate (alum) for use at the Austin Water Wastewater Treatment Facility. The primary mission of this contract is to effectively remove soluble phosphorus from the mixed liquor stream at the end of the activated sludge process, thereby enhancing the treatment of wastewater.
