ARPA-E seeks input, not grant applications, on integrating nuclear heat into refineries and petrochemical plants to improve efficiency and cut emissions. The RFI targets ideas for process-intensified reactors, novel heat transfer/augmentation, and managing dynamics of firm nuclear heat with variable demand.
