988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline Crisis Center Follow-Up Programs
This program funds Lifeline crisis centers to provide structured follow-up support after people contact 988. It aims to improve coordination across crisis stabilization and outreach services, reduce unnecessary emergency responder involvement, and better connect high-risk individuals to ongoing care to lower suicide, overdose deaths, and repeat crises.
