NSF Security and Preparedness Program for fundamental security-focused social science research
The NSF Security and Preparedness (SAP) Program funds basic, theoretically grounded research that improves understanding of global and national security issues. Proposals are reviewed for intellectual merit and broader impacts, and may include undergraduate research experiences or infrastructure and methodological innovation. The program does not support applied research.
