USGS funding for a CESU partner to use GeoAI and lidar for landform mapping and improved GIS data
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is seeking a Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) partner to advance GeoAI-enabled automated landform mapping. The work will expand a Landform Reference Ontology with knowledge graphs and improve the positional accuracy of Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) summit features using lidar-derived elevation data.
