NHLBI Career Transition Award (K22)

The NHLBI Career Transition Award offers funding for up to five years, providing support in two phases: an up to two-year mentored intramural phase, and a three-year extramural phase. Transitioning to the extramural phase is contingent on a successful NHLBI progress review, evaluating the awardee's research achievements and proposed plan at the extramural institution.
