Tribal Self-Governance Planning Cooperative Agreement Program
This cooperative agreement provides funding to Tribes to plan and negotiate how they can take greater control of health care programs and services handled by the Indian Health Service (IHS). Eligible Tribes can prepare to join or expand the Tribal Self-Governance Program, using options such as direct services, contracting, or compacting, often in combination.
