State Personnel Development Grants (SPDG) — Competitive grants to improve special education personnel systems
The SPDG program provides competitive grants to State Educational Agencies to reform and strengthen personnel preparation and professional development in early intervention, K–12 special education, and transition services. Grants support implementation of State plans under IDEA section 653 to improve outcomes for children with disabilities.
