CROSS-DIVISION RESEARCH
The Science Mission Directorate (SMD) offers grants for research programs that span more than one of its four main science areas. Currently, there are seven cross-division programs listed in Appendix E of the NASA Research Announcement (NRA). However, these programs generally do not issue contracts for proposals submitted, as the nature of the work does not warrant it.
