NIH R01 Research Project Grant — Clinical Trial Required

The NIH R01 supports investigator-initiated health research projects; this Parent R01 requires that applications propose one or more NIH-defined clinical trials. It funds mechanistic, biomarker, basic, translational, and other clinical-trial studies across participating Institutes and Centers, and applicants are encouraged to contact relevant IC scientific staff to confirm fit and interest.
