Mission Zero grants for military-civilian trauma readiness at eligible trauma centers

HHS ASPR, in consultation with DoD, offers Mission Zero grants to build military-civilian trauma partnerships. Up to 30 eligible high-acuity trauma centers can embed military trauma teams or providers full time to deliver trauma and acute care, strengthening national emergency readiness. Awards are subject to available funds.

Section 1291 of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act (42 U.S.C. 300d-91), as amended by the section 204 of the Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness and Advancing Innovation Act of 2019, authorizes the award of grants to:
