This cooperative agreement supports a national center that assesses and strengthens “pediatric readiness” in hospital emergency departments and pre-hospital EMS systems. The goal is to help ensure pediatric-specific leadership, training, policies, equipment, and resources are in place so children receive appropriate emergency care anywhere in the U.S.
