ONR Open Topic for Low-Cost Heads Up Displays (HUDs) for Virtual & Augmented Reality (VR/AR)
ONR is seeking proposals to develop low-cost, NDAA-compliant heads-up display technology for VR/AR use cases relevant to the Navy and USMC. The goal is to address capability gaps by enabling on-board 6 degrees-of-freedom (6DOF) tracking in HUDs suitable for virtual and augmented reality applications. The focus is on creating a commercializable solution aligned with military needs.
