FY23 Metter-Register Rail Upgrades
This project will rehabilitate 12.3 miles of Georgia Southern freight track between Metter and Register, GA. Work includes replacing a metal culvert, repairing bridge H-piles at MP 84.0, and improving safety at two community crossings to enable safe 10 mph daytime operations.
