Family-Based Treatment for Parents with Substance Use Disorders in Corrections (Second Chance Act)
BJA will fund family-centered substance use disorder treatment and recovery support for parents who are under correctional control and have minor children or are pregnant. Programs can be delivered in jails, prisons, or alternative-to-incarceration settings to support both parental recovery and child outcomes while reducing recidivism and improving reentry.
